Pioneer SX-650 Vintage Receiver, Custom Cherry Veneer Casework

The Pioneer "SX" series of receivers from the 1970s were known for ultra quiet, top-quality phono inputs and excellent FM reception.  Featuring 35 watts per channel, and positioned right in the beginning of Pioneer's product range, the SX-650 is superb all-around performer.  

Don't let the relatively low power output fool you, this receiver can pack a real punch.  Paired with the right speakers, like a set of AR2ax or EPI M100, the presentation is classic, fun, and all-day-enjoyable.

This receiver has been fully serviced by our in-house tech with all dials cleaned, any faulty capacitors replaced, and all bulbs and LEDs tested or replaced. The original vinyl-wrapped case was peeled back and a new, gorgeous, one-of-a-kind, real cherry wood veneer compliments the bright fascia perfectly.  There is some pitting on the rear input panel, which we can assure you, has no impact on the unit's performance.

This one is a REAL LOOKER from every angle, and sounds as warm and inviting as it looks.
