REL Acoustics, founded in Wales in 1990, specializes in high-performance sub-bass systems. REL have been designing and building their subwoofers to seamlessly blend with main loudspeakers in both 2-channel and home theater applications using precision components and incredible cabinetry.

The REL T/9x redefines what low-end performance means for music and movies alike. The T/9x uses an ultra-light, yet strong, 10-inch front-firing active driver with an identically constructed 10-inch down-firing passive radiator.  The combination equates to a total moving surface area of a massive 15-inch woofer while maintaining the speed and agility that smaller diameter drivers typically provide.

Driven by a robust on-board 300-watt Class A/B amplifier, with high-current reserves, the T/9x reaches down to a low-frequency extension of 27 Hz (-6 dB) to pressurize your room with clean, lightning-fast transients rather than muddy, lingering boom.

Enclosed in a stunning hand-polished piano black cabinet, finished with five coats of high-gloss lacquer, this subwoofer integrates seamlessly into any high-end setup.  Traditional unbalanced/RCA style connectors Arte available as well as REL’s signature high-level Neutrik Speak-On connectors. 

This example comes complete with the wiring harness and manual (not with the original box).  Condition is “nearly new”, with hardly a smudge or scratch on the shiny gloss finish.
