Sansui AU-717 Integrated Amp & TU-719 Tuner - SOLD
Vintage Sansui,... "all the magic" - HHA
The AU-717 amplifier incorporates an advanced design feature which has extremely low inherent transient intermodulation distortion enabling negative feedback (necessary in traditional amplifier design but undesirable) to be reduced to the absolute minimum.
Power amplifier design too, shows a departure from tradition resulting in the elimination of DC drift.
Differential push/pull amplifier stage eliminates open-loop distortion. The driver stage is 3-stage darlington connected.

The Sansui TU-719 replaced the very popular TU-717 in early 1979 placing it second from the TOTL (superb) TU-919. It is an aesthetic pleasing design with a style that is uniquely "Sansui". Unlike its predecessor the 717, the 719 has a fluorescent digital display giving tubes frequency, center tube indication and signal strength. It also features a quartz referenced serve lock system. Front to back one of the most highly sought after tuners of its era.
This Sansui "stack" is in terrific condition and has just been recently serviced, (both pieces) and is ready for the next 40yrs of incredibly satisfying playback. It's vintage Sansui people, super high quality with incredible dynamics and robust presentation. This is the set you've been looking for. Solid 8 (both tuner & amp) with only the slightest signs of wear.
