Woah... OK now, calling all Sansui enthusiasts... it has arrived. The Monster Zero, King of The Monster Receivers, the G-9000DB is off the test bench and is now available. We've had calls on this already having been spotted in the background of one of our other ads but its now been full serviced and is ready to totally ROCK THE HOUSE for its very lucky new owner.

The Sansui name is synonymous with high quality classic components. They made some of the most coveted pieces of electronics from the 60s & 70s without question and this G-9000DB is about the most heralded of the lot. At 160 watts per/channel at 8ohm it was certainly capable of driving ANY speaker of its era. Consistently paired with vintage JBL & Acoustic Research speaker systems, classic Sansui became the 1st manufacturer to buddy-up exceptionally well with both East Coast & West Coast voiced brands. Have had loads of Pioneer SX-... and Kenwood KR-... big boys roll through the shop lately but may we humbly say, this Sansui tops them ALL in terms of sheer grunt & slam but wait, it plays delicate passages with dignity and resolve. The dynamic headroom goes on for miles and know that this receiver can toss around even the toughest speaker loads. Truly an amazing find and is without question the finest piece of it's kind in North America. If you've been "jones'n" for a a big boy receiver, and better yet, have been lusting after the G-9000DB and wondering just how awesome it is, THIS IS THE ONE. There is NONE finer and now fully serviced, is a no-brainer.

So one might ask, what's the difference between the G-9000 and the G-9000DB? The G-9000DB had the Dolby circuitry while the G-9000 only had FM de-emphasis circuitry which is somewhat akin to a poor man’s Dolby. Keep in mind that the Dolby on both the receivers was for FM only so they are not much use today as FM is not broadcast using Dolby anymore. So, by today’s standards these two machines are essentially the same. Just know that the "DB" Dolby version is more rare and a more desirable piece. Input for (2) Turntables and a Microphone (Beck) and meters, BIG meters! Just checks all the boxes for classic 70s cool.
