Yamaha R-1000 Natural Sound 80's Receiver

Yamaha coined its "Natural Sound" branding in the 1970s, a monicker that has survived to today.  The reason for this is the smooth, clean, and effortless way Yamaha components deliver music.  Yamaha amps have long had excellent drive, capable of commanding and controlling many types of challenging speakers, but doing so in a way that reduces fatigue and makes for lengthy musical enjoyment.

The R-1000 receiver was introduced in 1981 and features a huge 100 watts per channel. Features include an excellent and highly configurable phono section, (2) pair of speakers inputs as well as (2) headphone jacks, digital tuner and strikingly beautiful silver-faced look. The modern “totally 80s” styling separates the R series from the CR that preceded it.  The extra power means the amp can power more challenging speakers with authority and retain that signature Natural Sound.

This unit has been tested and cleaned by our in-house tech with a clean bill of health.  It sounds excellent.  The casework is in fabulous shape... you will not be disappointed. This R-1000 is a totally retro audio bombshell - just all the 80's business!
